Re: Patricia Blair nearly settled down with The Rifleman in a sixth color season — until Chuck Connors killed it

I remember Chuck in Branded but since I was only 7 when The Rifleman ended, I didn't realize the stars were the same actor. I have never seen Arrest and Trial or Cowboy in Africa. I'll have to see if they're on You Tube so I can watch them. I do agree about them not letting Mark grow up. For one thi...

Re: The Assailants

You've got some good questions Morgan. Here's another question. New Mexico isn't a state yet so why does a territory have a US senator? Did territories have senators & congressmen back then? I think if Mark had yelled for his father instead of using the slingshot, he, the senator & other men may ha...

Re: Smokescreen

I can't even imagine feeling like that & driving on a smooth road in an air conditioned automobile. I wonder how many times Mark threw up on the ride home.

They had never seen Lucas before meeting him on the road, so how did the drunken revelers know how to get to Lucas' ranch? Michah wouldn't have told them & I don't think Sweeney would have either. I don't think there's a sign just outside of town pointing to the ranch. :confusedcowboy:

Re: Old Man Running

Wouldn't it have been nice if the writers had looked at previous episodes before writing things that could be checked, such as how old Mark was when his mother died? I don't think the ranch was too far from town. I remember in Outlaw's Inheritance, Mark got the mail, rode home and back to school on ...

Re: Old Man Running

I was watching the episode and something struck me as odd. When Mark's grandfather is telling him about the night his mother died, he says it was 11 years ago. This is season 5 so Mark is 14 & that would have made him 3 years old & in Waste, Mark tells Micah he was only 3 when his mother died Howeve...

Lucas was lucky Mark did not hurl all over him!
That would have been a great scene. I wonder how Lucas would have reacted.

Re: The Decision

When Lucas sends Mark off to school, he's not riding Blue Boy. he's also not riding Blue Boy at the end of the episode when Lucas brings him home. Since Mark had been in a courtroom, watched his father give testimony & gave testimony himself in The Photographer, why is he asking his father what it'...
