I wouldn't say that Mark only worked a few days for the saddle... As in many shows, the amount of time is often left up to you to decide how much time goes by. I agree... was there ever an episode that ended with Lucas being negative towards Mark?
Even when they had something to "talk about".. they would ride off not angry.
