#135 - None So Blind

There is always a lesson to learn when you watch “The Rifleman.” There is no better teacher for Mark than his father, Lucas McCain. Lucas teaches Mark from “The Bible” and from experience. Sometimes the lessons are hard ones and at times rather easy ones. They are still lessons learned! Let’s discuss the lessons learned in each episode. “Every lesson you learn makes you a better partner.” “Just remember the lessons!”

I can't help but wonder what Lucas had to say to Mark after his ordeal of with Faye?

"Howdy Mr. Blye. My name's Mark McCain." He corrected Mark by telling him his friends call him Faye.
"Keep your 'sites' on The Rifleman"
"The Rifleman hits the 'Mark' every week on abc."
A cowgirl's work is never done.

In the Sheridan story, Lucas tells Mark they are worse off than blyden because they cannot stand to look at him. Hopefully, Lucas talks of his own thirst for vengeance when Mark was hurt in trail of hate, the consequences of impulsiveness, and mixing having somebody else's back with getting back at someone.

Did Lucas tell Mark criminal charges could have been filed against Mark if the vet had been injured?
