Mark is pouring sweat. Without ice, Hattie, Doc, and Lucas are trying desperately to coll him down with cold compresses, yet his "skin" drinks the water faster than they can cool him...
BUT...
Mark is covered up to his chest with blankets AND has on his flannel night shirt...Wouldn't they have him completely stripped without blankets...or even with WET sheets and blankets on him to cool him down???

Another thing is in one scene they are bathing Mark with cold cloths to try to keep his fever down, and then in the next scene they have stopped bathing him at all even before the ice gets there. Did the fever go down for a while or did they just forget to do it?

Re: The Vision
Of course, Lucas is not thinking rationally in this episode, but it is surprising nils does not suggest pedro go into town to send a telegram to neighboring towns to see if a doctor is available. Of vourse, the episode may not be the classic that it is now.
Re: The Vision
If the water in the barrel was polluted, how come Mark was the only one who got sick? I'm sure that he wasn't the only one who drank from it, but everyone else from the wagon train is healthy.

Re: The Vision
I thought everyone would like to read this article from METV about Johnny's favorite episode, The Vision.

Re: The Vision
I have heard this before, several times. It's interesting because when I was on a 3 way call with Johnny and Brad Marks, one of the writer's for When the West Was Fun, I had asked Johnny what his favorite episode was and he said he didn't have a favorites that he liked them all.
It would be hard to pick, just ask us the same questions, I too, like them all, well almost all of them.
Nice article, thanks flabirder!
