Mark's Lines

Mark McCain was as important to the show as the Rifleman himself. Let's talk about his sweet nature and sensitivity. Always learning from Lucas, sometimes the hard way, fear of losing his only parent, times he got into trouble, their respect for each other, and how he was portrayed as a motherless kid but had the insight and determination of a disciplined adult.

Next episode. When did Mark say these lines?

What’s the matter with ‘em?  They just stand there like they haven’t got a place to go!”

"I just filled that box this afternoon!”

“Course, you can’t say that I don’t aim to please!”

He didn't have too many lines in this one.

Was it the one when Lucas  got cracked on the head when he and Mark went to check out some cabin or something and the one guy is supposed to kill them but doesn't? Is this the one where Lucas sends Mark for help to save him? Maybe not, but wasn't this one just on AMC awhile ago? Obviously it's not one of my favorites..

Actually the one I was thinking about did Lucas get shot instead of hit (in the head). IS that the The Score Is Even? See, told you LOL, I don't know it at all.

Gloria, what are your very, very favorite episodes?? I'd sure like to know if we have some of the same ones :)

I don't get here as often as I'd like so if you tell me and it takes me awhile to answer, it's just cuz I usually only get here once a week.

I don't get on here but maybe once a week either and sometimes not that much.  It just depends how much spare time I get.
