Keely Smith

Post by Dana » Sat Jan 06, 2018 11:51 pm

I was perusing the internet last night and learned keely Smith died on December 17th. Two of her hits were old black magic and I've got you under my skin. She turned down a marriage proposal from Frank Sinatra, because she thought it would ruin a beautiful friendship. Rest in peace and thanks.

I do remember those songs.

Keely Smith, was a Grammy winning singer known for her solo recordings of jazz standards as well as her partnership with her first husband, Louis Prima, died Dec. 16 in Palm Springs, Calif. She was 89 and had been suffering from heart failure.
