How would you like to seen Chuck?

Everybody knows Chuck Connors for his role as Lucas McCain in "The Rifleman." He also did so many other things. He was good at no matter what he did! Besides The Rifleman what else have you enjoyed seeing Chuck in?

He was one handsome Sodbuster.  I notice a lot of his other work he has his sleeves rolled up, even in personal photos, or his shirt is open.  He was hot and he knew it.

so i wonder if a lot of the shirt off or open was Chuck or scripted. I think in the Westerns    can you imagine how hot it was on set and with extra lighting for scenes it had to be terribly hot.   we will never know but I enjoyed it!

Chuck just has the look and stature of a cowboy and those tight jeans don't hurt either!

Just as i Like Johnny's work, he was best as a deputy in Big Valley, a deputy in Branded. a cowboy in Little House on the Prairie and of course his scene with John Wayne in El Dorado.  Johnny also looked best in western gear and was always so comfortable on a horse!!

I would have liked to see chuck in a production of the Philadelphia story as mcauley the reporter, Richard Anderson as c.k. Dexter haven, Paul Carr as Tracy Lord's intended-I forget his name. Gloria Dehaven should be Tracy Lord.

If we could have magic casting , chuck would be a wonderful Gaston in beauty and the beast! Like Gaston, Lucas McCain is roughly the size of a barge!

Did chuck ever do any voice work? I wish we could have seen and heard him as a character in an animated film?
