Ride Beyond Vengeance

Everybody knows Chuck Connors for his role as Lucas McCain in "The Rifleman." He also did so many other things. He was good at no matter what he did! Besides The Rifleman what else have you enjoyed seeing Chuck in?

If Jessie went after Jonas; I think he saw too much of her "real" self and would have moved on without her.

What a man.  He can look my way anytime

The Big Country is my favorite CC western movie.  But Ride Beyond Vengeance is second in my book!

I really do think that Chuck deserved an award for his role as Buck Hannassey.

I really felt for Chuck's character when he finds out why Jessie was allowed to marry him.  You could tell that the implication that he had gotten Jessie "in trouble" was hard for him to accept.

Lots of great scenes, and definitely worth a watch for any Chuck Connors fan.

I didn't realize till recently that Kathryn Hayes who played Jessie is the same woman who played Kim Hughes on "As the World Turns."  I guess I hadn't tried to picture her old...er.

So what did you think Jules?  How many popcorn bags would you give it?    :happy1:

Do you think Jesse went after Jonas Trapp?

Has anyone read the book, "The Night of the Tiger?"

A bit of trivia here.....
Both the opening and closing scenes image on an old worn wooden sign which reads: "COLDIRON, TEXAS SITE OF THE REPRISAL POPULATION 754"

Kathryn Hayes also appeared with Chuck in "Branded."

Very Few Heroes....Jason becomes involved with Christina (Kathryn Hayes) who is in danger of losing her farm. He learns that her brother had served with McCord at Bitter Creek and had lost his life under suspicious circumstances. McCord must help Christina prove that her brother did not die for the life insurance, which bought her farm and testifies to the brother's heroism.
