The witch doctor

Everybody knows Chuck Connors for his role as Lucas McCain in "The Rifleman." He also did so many other things. He was good at no matter what he did! Besides The Rifleman what else have you enjoyed seeing Chuck in?

The witch doctor

I have no idea what this show was, but I was perusing you tube this morning and this was , but this was hilarious. Chuck played a fake witch doctor in a tropical island. His son was his lookout. It was supposedly filmed in 1956, but the young msn resembled a slightly older Johnny Crawford. Chuck's character was named Irving. He would have to hurry to turn off the Yankees game on television, put out his cigarette, and put his mask on. I was rolling.

That sounds hilarious!

Filmed in 1956? That was before "Old Yeller" and "The Rifleman".

:tv_happy: I do have this, it is funny. I haven't watched it in years.

Chuck loved comedy and he was good at it!

If we had magic casting, I would have loved to see chuck in two John Lithgow roles: Dick Solomon in third rock from the sun and Larry Henderson in trial and error. He also would have been great to see chuck as Ted baxter or Lou Grant. Imagine chuck saying "good night and good news" or "I hate spunk".

Dana I'm a fan of Barney Miller - who would you see Chuck as in this? Captain Barney Miller.

I really like Wojciehowicz. I love when he does this.....

Chuck would have been awesome in either role! How about chuck as Jim Rockford or one of sargent Becker's annoying superiors?

I would have like to see Chuck and Clint Eastwood in a movie together. Now let's see, what movie would that have been?

Paint your wagon or Jersey boys. Chuck would have been great as either Nucky Thompson or the federal agent-turned mobster whose name escapes me.
