BRANDED

Everybody knows Chuck Connors for his role as Lucas McCain in "The Rifleman." He also did so many other things. He was good at no matter what he did! Besides The Rifleman what else have you enjoyed seeing Chuck in?

What was the sword made of that was so flimsy the commander could break it over his knee? I am certainly no expert, but I would think swords would be made of really sturdy stuff?!

I like the buzzcut Chuck. I am on early shift this week, so I will not be able to watch until the weekend.

Saw the episode....The Bar Sinister today......it was loaded. the actor who played the boy was Michel Petit who was the brother to The Princess AND the boys Mother was played by Marian Seldes who was in the Vision as Hazel and also Margaret in Marks vision. it was like a Rifleman reunion.

also love the way Jason does a left handed flip twirl of the saber and throws it at people!!

wild wild Lucas. (Anne Dodd) ..oops.. wild wild Jason

Oh - I'll have to look at that episode again. My focus is always on Chuck and I miss a lotta stuff. I can't seem to take my eyes off that man. <*drooling*>

Quite a few of the guest stars from The Rifleman are also on "Branded".

It would have been awesome to see Johnny and Paul on a "Branded" episode with Chuck.

Dana - The first thing I looked at when I got the "Branded" DVDs was Johnny's interview. Then I watched "The Coward Steps Aside" - Johnny. :happycowboy:

Sooo - What did you think of Johnny's interview?

~Deneen~
I've had my DVD set a long time. There is no Johnny Crawford interview in this set. Tell me more. :happycowboy:
CowGirl ~ Johnny's interview starts out with Johnny doing some "trick roping" in an open field.

Then he talks about how impressed he was with Richard Arlen - the actor who played Hatton - the one leg bartender in "The Coward Steps Aside".

Johnny said Chuck was an Irish Man and he drank like a Irish Man. :msn-oh:
Johnny also said Chuck was a character and that they respected each other.

Johnny didn't mention anything about the time he spent on The Rifleman.

The interview was very short. It ended with Johnny doing some more "trick roping".
I wish Johnny had talked more about himself and Chuck and of course The Rifleman.

Oh Well :icon_neutral:
