Riverdale and RIfleman

I thought it would be neat to have a place to discuss "The Rifleman" episodes. If there is an episode you wish to discuss in length, please feel free to post it here.

Is agent Adams really a capo? Is agent Adams really still alive ? Did Hermione have agent Adams killed? If agent Adams is indeed dead, I really don't think Hiram had anything to do with it. He might have had something to do with papa poutine's death-the feds might not look too closely at one mobster having another one whacked, but killing a federal agent is something else entirely. Hermione however....

Big shout out: I know we live in a post-feminist, post-modern world, but I still think it worth noting that the three attorneys we have seen on the show are female: mary Andrews, Sierra McCoy, and penny Peabody.

Archie adores Fred. Mark adores Lucas. Fred has had at least one affair with a married woman, has had a dui, and not been too thorough when checking the paperwork of his construction crew, but he is a good guy. Lucas had a wild youth , but has always been a good guy at heart. Mark is obsessed with outlaws. Archie loves veronica, but he is truly infatuated with Hiram.

That's funny Dana, especially the last sentence, but you are right!
"Keep your 'sites' on The Rifleman"
"The Rifleman hits the 'Mark' every week on abc."

If the lodge family is "connected", wouldn't that be common knowledge in Riverdale?

I certainly can see it and I don't live in Riverdale. :cool2:

Chuck would have made a great tallboy!

Hiram and Archie are kindred spirits. Both are earnest and hot-headed. I sincerely think Hiram is oblivious to the damage he has caused-or allowed to happen. When he goes to the trailer park where the serpents live (and probably some people who are not serpents), Hiram realizes that evicting the residents of the trailer park will mean the folks in the trailer park will have no place to live.

Pop Tate and Hiram: is pop Tate hiram's capo? Or is it the other way around and Hiram (and possibly Hermione) actually work for pop Tate? Perhaps Hiram and pop go way back and there is a special bond and connection between the two?

To her credit, Cheryl did seem genuinely concerned when she found betty puking in the bathroom. Cheryl assumed betty was upset because she found out about Hal and Penelope, not because of hiding that guy's body.

Yes she did seem concerned, but after she asked Betty she seemed to convert back to her real self.

I guess if this was a western, I'd understand this show better. :sillycowboy:
