Things I learned hanging around North Fork

I thought it would be neat to have a place to discuss "The Rifleman" episodes. If there is an episode you wish to discuss in length, please feel free to post it here.

Lucas should not leave Mark unsupervised in town, I.e. matchmaking and smoking cigars.

Mark needs to be more careful about not letting pa catch him "with that sort of company."

Both we and George Collins learn there is no reason to be afraid if a six-foot-six cowboy approaches you with a rifle.

We learn that if you promise to be good you can get out of jail free.

We learn miss Bertie is more responsible with handcuff keys than Micah.

We learn doctor-patient confidentiality does not apply, when doc barrage is speaking to Lucas McCain.

I learned that there should be a law against Lucas sitting/working around the ranch with no shirt on looking sexy as "heck". :giggle:

These are good ones, I especially like your Deneen!
"Keep your 'sites' on The Rifleman"
"The Rifleman hits the 'Mark' every week on abc."
A cowgirl's work is never done.

If you and pa are squabbling and you tick him off enough, he will dump you in the middle of nowhere without drinking water.

If you see someone get killed in town - you get to have a nice (steak) dinner at the hotel.

If you get good grades in school - you can get 2 desserts or 2 bags of rock candy. :happycowboy:

If you go into someone's place of business and insult her, you get slapped in the face!

If you let a convicted felon get away, you need to immediately pretend to be fast asleep.
