Thanks for asking and thank you all for the wishes. I enjoy so much chatting with you gals.

is a new restaurant called Watermark. Did not know where the name came from so we asked. There is a 15 foot Watermark level on the outside of the building. Our city, Miamisburg, was in a huge flood in 1913 which devastated Dayton Oh and surrounding cities on the Great Miami River that flows into the Ohio River. after that many dams were built to alleviate the chance of flooding.

We are a river city and are celebrating our 200 years this year, located 11 miles south of Dayton. The restaurant was good and is located in al old warehouse used to dry tobacco 100 years ago. we have another new restaurant located in a historic bank. Both of these restaurants are upscale and play music on the weekends. I'm glad our city is into restoration instead of tearing down and building new. Many of the buildings and houses date back before the Civil War.

We are also the home of The Miamisburg Mound, the largest conical Indian Mound in Ohio. Archaeological investigations of the surrounding area suggest that it was constructed by the prehistoric Adena Indians (800 BC - AD 100). Ohio is loaded with Indian burial mounds.

I'd be afraid of anything Nora might cook, not that she would know how. Her main ingredient would probably be arsenic. Her specialty was not cooking. :sillycowboy:
