Good comparison Dana! What a small world on TV and real life.

there was a Branded episode where Jason put up a ....leave your guns at the Sheriff office.....like the episode Nils posted the same sign

also I think Michael Ansara in Branded got stuck in the same quicksand as Mark did but he died.

its like when I watch reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond and King of Queens......it seems the same stories are on both shows.....same writers

I might have posted this at one time, not sure.....

I read years ago when Warner Brothers ruled the westerns / detective stories /private eye, they would use the same story line a lot of times for a lot of their shows, just change them to suit the next show.

In the martinet, Lucas hands newly ordained minister Lon Perry his clerical collar, asking Lon if he intends to approach his father Captain Perry with or without the clerical collar. In day of reckoning, Lucas hands reverend Jamison his clerical collar before going out with reverend Jamison to meet the townspeople.

Don't let the door hit you in the butt on your way out: when Mary woodson asks what she should do now upon learning she was the pawn in the banner brothers spiteful trick, Millie tells her in a butter-wouldn't -melt-in-her mouth voice that she is sure Mary will think of something. When harry Chase tries to sweet-talk Millie, Lucas tells gambler Harry the saloon is across the street.

The debt: Lucas is livid when Mark stays silent and passively lets renalds escape. None so blind: Lucas is in a state of shock and almost unnaturally subdued when Mark inadvertently almost gets Mac the vet/pharmacist and/or subdued by Fay.

Remember how Lucas chewed Mark out in The Debt and The Decision? Boy was he in big trouble after this one.....

It surprised me Lucas did not get in trouble with the judge for being so late for court!
