Mark's Friends

Mark McCain was as important to the show as the Rifleman himself. Let's talk about his sweet nature and sensitivity. Always learning from Lucas, sometimes the hard way, fear of losing his only parent, times he got into trouble, their respect for each other, and how he was portrayed as a motherless kid but had the insight and determination of a disciplined adult.

I think there was another episode where Mark was younger and going to another party and was going to wrap the present in fancy paper instead of buying something expensive.

Rhody I think you're thinking of Lucille Bandy in Gun Fire. No we never do see her. Yeah the outtake is very funny what Lucas says about Mark. He had a dirty mind. No wonder Micah is laughing even in the real scene.

In Sins of a Father Mark wants to buy Jay Gordon a hunting knife. Lucas tells Mark that they can't afford it, so Marks says he will get something that cost less and wrap it in fancy wrapping paper. (thanks comforting)
