Lol, here's one for ya!  I wouldn't say it now, but I do remember when people said "groovy man" .  But if you were really cool you said something was "bitchin" if it was good.

A person sneezes and then says, "Uff Da".

Using the word “Uff Da”, has the same meaning as when Charlie Brown says, "Good Grief".

I also say, "God bless you" when another person sneezes. But, sometimes when I sneeze, I'll say, "Uff Da", instead of "Excuse me".

We used to say something was "balsy" if it was a good thing...like a balsy kid was a good friend. My mother would tell me to find another word. LOL This was in the 60's.
