Thanks NorthRidge. when I was out west years ago, I did see the Lone Ranger Rock, but didn't get a picture of it. I only saw it from the highway, which seem strange this huge rock right next to the road. I sure would have loved to have seen it from the angle in the show.

Thanks for all the info. I am putting these in a slide show and adding a link to this in the filming location section of the ranch, where your other information is.

Northridge, do you remember seeing anything like what is in the pictures below?

On the 2nd picture I have an arrow pointing to I don't know what. I wonder what it is? Is it an opening with a frame. Anybody?

Yes, most likely I was at or very near those rocks and locations. The last time I was there, I believe it was May, 2016, I went with a walking group and we explored most of the Garden of the Gods.

Noticed in many episodes when it is dark there is a lot more light than what a lantern would normally give. Night time scenes on the prairie looks like daylight but darkening the film to look like night maybe!?
