That is so interesting! Your area sure is green! Can you tell us more about conical mounds?

Ohio is home to many Indian Mounds. another conical mound is located nearby Enon OH, not as tall as Miamisburg Mound. Enon mound pic below

another famous one is Serpet Mound in Peebles OH in the shape of snake

several of them have been excavated and they found pottery etc. none were not fully excavated because they are burial mounds and sacred. I see you have several wonderful ruins in Arizona as well. I just love history
