Laughing Mark

I thought it would be neat to have a place to discuss "The Rifleman" episodes. If there is an episode you wish to discuss in length, please feel free to post it here.

"SideWinder" - Mark and Gridley Maule laugh when the cigars Lucas and Micah are smoking explode at the dinner table.

Hi Jenn, welcome to the ranch!

The Assailants - Mark laughed when Micah gave him the slingshot.

Guilty Conscience - Mark gave a short laugh at Habcuck Caraway's name. He stopped laughing when Hab looked at him.

I love New York! So much going on there. I've been there about seven times.

They even had a naked cowboy at time square when I was there. He wore only cowboy boots, a hat, and white briefs, with a guitar strategically placed to give the illusion of nudity.

But of course I've seen things that were educational like the Statue of Liberty.

Love the theaters!

What did you see when you were in New York?

We were last in New York in 2000. Saw Music Man in a broadway theatre. went up Statue of Liberty (wow thats a lot of steps), went to Ellis Island, saw the World Trade Center as is was the year before it fell.

met up with Don Mahoney from the bowery and ate at McDonalds in Times Square. Don said he liked the food at the Malory House better ha

went up Empire State building, walked thru Central Park, rode the subway all over (that was scary at first but we got the hang of it) was in Times Square at night...thats awesome.

Love New York! Left there and went to Niagara Falls, another awesome place

I went to the metropolitan art museum, the United nations building, st. Patrick's cathedral, Linda's (had a great steak sandwich and of course, the cheesecake), the museum of new York, the fricke museum, rode the Staten island ferry, and radio city music hall.

In Queue, after visiting Wang Chi and his son, when Mark says, "I know, look in a mirror", he does a little laugh and Lucas smiles. I love their natural ease around each other.

I too love how everything is so natural around Chuck & Johnny. I often wonder how many of these cute things they do is spontaneous. It just seems so natural with them and not really acting.

In Meeting at Midnight, when Lucas tells Mark about a writer he once knew who worked at the sauerkraut factory
When Lucas says this writer never left st. Louis, it made me think in some subconscious way Lucas is trying to literally "keep Mark down on the farm."
