Dan I appreciate a 'mans point of view' on a lot of these topics. you probably get sick of our swooning over Lucas Boy all the time.
Not really.. I understand that he was a man's man,
and one that the ladies thought so too..
I would not have minded being a long legged, slim, square jawed 6'6"
instead of a plain old 6'1" guy.. that blends into the crowd!

There were some pretty nice looking women on the show as well.
We just don't talk about them as much!
That is a reality thread.
I actually prefer the reality threads, more than the hypothetical ones..

Dan I am sure you are not just a 'plain old' guy and we really appreciate your inout. I know you didn't like Lou but if you were Lucas Boy who would you have preferred?????

Thanks... but pretty old... and pretty plain!!

Well, just so as to not have to dig too deeply into the memory bank
of all the women that have been on Rifleman...
let's just limit it to the store owners.. for now..
Milly was just so nice.. No contest between the two.

Being "old" (like me) we're just not into that tough, brash sort of woman
with the giant chip.. that Lou was.. I know, I know, she settled down.. some...
But humans tend to make the most lasting impressions in the first 5-10 minutes of
meeting someone... that said... Lou never made my top 10..
I still hold a door open, and let a woman into the store first.. And would never use coarse language around them. I'm also glad that my wife stayed home, and brought up our two boys.
It was tough at times.. but we made it.
Today... well.. it's a different world.. I get it.

I'd have to really think about some of the others... There were some nice ones..
maybe as I see them, (I still watch a lot).. I will let you know when the "good ones" show up! :msn-wink:

Thanks Dan, I preferred Milly also. or I could have seen Lucas with Ann Dodd. Your manners sound like the ones my husband always used. I think it is always 'galant' of a man to use manners!!
