#20 - The Deadeye Kid

There is always a lesson to learn when you watch “The Rifleman.” There is no better teacher for Mark than his father, Lucas McCain. Lucas teaches Mark from “The Bible” and from experience. Sometimes the lessons are hard ones and at times rather easy ones. They are still lessons learned! Let’s discuss the lessons learned in each episode. “Every lesson you learn makes you a better partner.” “Just remember the lessons!”

Interesting stuff here Dana.

It was such a good phrase that they even made a movie out of it and it wasn't even a western.....

Go West Young Man (1936)
"Keep your 'sites' on The Rifleman"
"The Rifleman hits the 'Mark' every week on abc."
A cowgirl's work is never done.

Was don a dandy or a street kid? For the most part, he seemed to be just a big talker and his worldliness was just for show. Also, he was pretty clean-even after being thrown from at least two wagons.
